On 15 March 2023, the Commission published the document “Transition pathway for Construction”.
This document was drafted in line with the EU Industry Forum’s draft and took into account the input provided through the High Level Forum on Construction (HLCF), coordinated by the European Commission (DG GROW).
The update of the EU Industrial Strategy underlines the need to accelerate the green and digital transition. In this context, a process has been launched to create a transition roadmap for construction and to describe the conditions and recommended actions to achieve a resilient, competitive, greener and digital construction ecosystem.
